The snow delayed Kirkwood cup took place on Wed 28th March.  This is a competition where two teams from each club take part and their scores are aggregated and the club with the best shot difference wins overall.  Partick took to the ice in a first game, against Bearsden Ski Club and came away with an 11-3 victory.  Setting things up nicely for the second team to carry on from where they left off.  The second game against Glasgow Accies saw another great Partick performance to gain another win of 10-2 so a 16 shot difference.  Unofficially this was just enough to pip Bearsden to the prize as they had a 14 shot difference.

Just the Province Jim Fraser Pairs competition to complete and the season draws to an end.   The weather is starting to get better so golf shoes, climbing boots, bicycles etc. can be brought out of the backs of the cupboards.
